Writers wanted: Summer of Cyborgs writing contest

The future is within you. Do you ever wonder how our bodies will change as technology leaps forward? What will we be capable of as we integrate with our machines? What will this mean for society?

This is your chance to imagine what that future looks like! Tell us your story about cyborgs and implantable technology in 1,000-5,000 words.

1st prize wins $250.

2nd prize wins $100.

3rd prize wins $50.

5 honorable mentions for $20 each.

Winning stories will be featured in the Symbiont Labs Fanzine.

Submission deadline is September 30th, 2024 11:59 pm CST.

Submission Guidelines: 

Stories must be 1,000-5,000 words. We prefer stories that are complete but story content is the ultimate deciding factor. 

Story submissions must follow Proper Manuscript format guidelines. 

We want original stories from aspiring authors of all backgrounds. Multiple submissions not accepted, one submission per author.
